Our take
2% lanthanated is a good all-around tungsten for AC and DC TIG on steel, stainless and aluminum. 3/32 in. covers most small-shop amperages.
Freight, returns and warranty
Freight and delivery
Machines over about 150 lb ship by freight truck to the curb; smaller ones ship by parcel carrier. For freight, the carrier calls to set a delivery window, and liftgate and residential delivery can be added to your order. Inspect the crate before you sign, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and report it within 48 hours. We file the freight claim.
Returns
Return terms for this machine are set by the manufacturer and confirmed before you order. Returns need a return authorization. Non-defective returns carry a restocking fee and return freight.
Warranty
Some brands only cover machines bought from an authorized dealer, so we'll confirm coverage on this machine before you order. If something goes wrong, we'll help you start the claim.
